This balm feels like a warm blanket for a tired barrier. A nutrient-dense gel balm that melts instantly into the skin, delivering deep nourishment without heaviness.

 

Egg yolks have been used for centuries in traditional beauty routines across cultures as a deeply nourishing skin food. Rich in naturally occurring phospholipids, fat-soluble vitamins, and cholesterol, egg yolk closely mirrors the skin’s own lipid structure, helping support softness, resilience, and a healthy barrier.

 

Paired with colostrum — nature’s first nourishment — this balm delivers deep comfort, softness, and barrier support using time-honored ingredients the skin intuitively understands.

Ingredients

Sugarcane Squalane Oil: A lightweight, skin-identical oil that softens, hydrates, and strengthens the skin barrier without feeling greasy.

 

Egg Yolks: Rich in natural vitamins and lipids that deeply moisturize and leave the skin supple and glowing. We take freeze dried pastured-raise egg yolks tincture them and apply low heat to infuse all the benefits into the balm.

 

Colostrum: A soothing, regenerative ingredient that helps repair, calm, and strengthen sensitive or compromised skin.

 

Frankincense: An ancient, skin-restoring resin that supports clarity, smoothness, and a more even, youthful-looking complexion.

 

Calendula: A gentle, calming herb that reduces redness and supports natural skin repair for softer, healthier skin.

What is the consistency of yolky?

What do you recommend for a face care routine?

We recommend the following routine 

AM

1. Oil Cleanse - Cleanse and remove with a lightly textured wet wash cloth for gentle exfoliation.

2. Tone - Use a hydrosol to dampen your skin like our lavender & rosemary hydrosol

3. Serum - Apply a few drops of an oil serum like our grounded face serum.

4. Moisturize - Lock all of that moisture in with an emollient balm like our yolky or vanilla latte face cream.

1. Dampen face with either a hydrosol or water

2. Apply 5-7 drops of serum

What is the smell like?

Warm, creamy, and golden, with hints of frankincense and calendula—comforting, rich, and skin-deep.

Do you use organic ingredients?

We prioritize organic ingredients across all of our formulations whenever they are available. All of our herbs, oils, and butters are organic.

 

Our grass-fed tallow comes from a small, local farmer who raises animals using organic and regenerative practices, but is not formally certified due to the extensive red tape and cost associated with certification. Additionally, beeswax cannot be certified organic by nature of how it is produced, though we source high-quality, clean beeswax from trusted local beekeepers.

 

We are deeply intentional about sourcing and choose transparency and quality over labels alone.
